In a world full of moral dilemmas yet another question comes to mind. Not one regarding small issues such as foregin policy, immigration, or environmental conservation. But rather is it moral for an ice cream company to produce delicious ice cream from nipple of a human breast milk. My vote, if it taste good why the hell not. We've all had it before!
YEA: If it's from Cambodia.

The only issue that this raises with me is how far this extends with the arena of stewardship: we're stewards of creation and are given certain things to eat, as we can see in Genesis 1, but this changes after the Fall and man begins to eat meat (and, presumably, produce from animals). I suppose that could include produce from humans, too, unless you want to argue that women, being made in the image of man in the same way as man is (Genesis 1:27) somehow makes it unnatural to use either male or female produce for human consumption, thus denying the purpose of breast milk to begin with--comsumption by an infant. I guess the question, then, is whether or not it is morally right for someone older--say, 24-26 year-olds-- to consume from a woman who is not their mother (or, for that matter, any woman after the age of 2).
With social implications alone, though, I'm going to steer clear of overtly seeking out human breast milk ice cream.
Unless, of course, it's Cambodian.
COLT!! I saw this on a bbc feed yesterday and while i was at work and felt weird about taking time to do a post on breastmilk...because all i could think about was our dream non-profit / mission of cambodian breastmilk. Anyways, who knew you could get herpes from breastmilk. creepy huh?
