  1. Good stuff, Wheels. I need some more information, though, like what you mean by "break bread"? Are you trying to just get them together to eat and share or are you trying to have something more structured/ corporate to dig through the word?

The first thing I'd suggest, either way, is ask for it from the father and do it, invite them over to be together in fellowship and crack that word.

Steve Schmitt led Stacey Dooley, Matt Walker, and I in a similar style "transitional, slightly post-college" B-stud the year before I came to China. It was great for me personally to sort through transitions in life with people going through the same things as I was. You could ask him what he did to plan that out.

Or ask J.R. from Tech RUF; he asked about you during the summer when I was there and I told him you were getting ready for the OCS training...I bet he'd love hearing from you on this, as he works with young folks going through mid-twenties "stuff" a lot.

I guess my advice is to appeal to the wisdom of those wiser than I to get this started. Lead on, brother!

  2. good advice. I think the "nid 20s singles" group is something I am led to explore. but I do feel the need to gather a group of men for the purpose you said above. thanks for the advice, I do need to call JR. maybe the word digging will be great at the group and I will be left with only the mission to gather guys for sports. ... that would be familiar.
