Prayer Request

Brothers,

I wanted to take to the bloggo-sphere to ask for prayer for Sue Odderstol, Lauren's mom. She recently contracted a treatable form of Lyme disease and is currently undergoing medical care to combat it.

Please pray for:

* A full recovery to health for Sue.
* For her energy levels to stay high, as she's been out of work and having difficulty engaging well with family/ friends over the last couple weeks/ holidays.
* For her to see God's heart in this time and to come into a full relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
* For her family (son, Thad; daughters, Katherine, Lauren, and Nikki; boyfriend, H.R.) to be a support for Sue and each other and to gain similar perspective on what God is teaching them in this season of their family's life.

If you could each take 15 minutes sometime this week to intentionally go before the Lord on Sue and her family's behalf, I know that it will move God's hand to act, as the prayers of men right before God are powerful and effective (James 5:16).

And, to my knowledge, there are no men more suited for the task than you.

Learning again to submit,
Ryan

Why settle for the entrance?

We know Jesus so we have the ticket to the park. Why settle for just walking through the front gate and standing there? Some settle for just the knowledge of knowing they have a ticket. but they refuse to use it. Jesus tells God the Father in John 17, I WANT MY FRIENDS WITH ME! here is the exerpt 20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one — 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. Jesus wants us to see him. I want to behold His glory. Wherever you are, seek out His face to see hear taste feel smell behold who He is. Behold
